THE CONFESSIONAL ROOM: Episode 28 The Rooftop Schism -Part 2
Sam’s Statement — “I Don’t Know Why I’m Even Here.”
[Sam enters the Confessional Room like someone who was summoned against his will. He sits, sighs, and stares directly into the camera with the exhausted patience of a cosmic traveler who has seen too much.]
Sam:
“Okay. So apparently I’m supposed to ‘explain myself.’ Again.”
[He gestures vaguely, as if the entire Rooftop Schism is an overblown rumor.]
“I would like to make it extremely clear that I did not push, bump, nudge, jostle, influence, or spiritually encourage Bam to do anything. I was simply… present.”
[He shrugs with the confidence of someone who believes presence is not a crime.]
“Everyone keeps acting like I orchestrated something. I didn’t orchestrate anything. I don’t even plan my naps.”
[He leans back, unimpressed.]
“I was on the rooftop. Bam was on the rooftop. Gravity was also on the rooftop. That’s all I’m saying.”
[He lifts a paw in a half-hearted oath.]
“If the Council wants to investigate me, fine. But I maintain my innocence. I am a witness, not a suspect. And honestly? I think the real culprit here is momentum.”
[He stands to leave, pausing only to add one last thing.]
“And for the record… I didn’t laugh. Out loud.”
